President and chief executive officer
Boyd Douglas began his career at CPSI in 1988. Boyd has served as President and Chief Executive Officer since 2006, and has also been a member of the Board of Directors since 2002. In addition to his current role, he has held several other positions at CPSI including Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer and Director of Programming Services. Boyd graduated from the University of the South with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.
CHAIRMAN AND CHIEF GROWTH OFFICER
David Dye joined CPSI in 1990 and has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors since 2006. David also served as our President and CEO from 1999-2006 and held the position of CFO from 2010-2015. He has served in several other positions, including Director of Technical Support and Software Implementation Team Manager. David graduated from the University of the South with a Bachelor of Science in Economics.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER AND PRESIDENT, TRUBRIDGE
Chris has been with CPSI since 2000 and transitioned to his current CPSI role in 2015. He also serves as President at TruBridge, a role he has held since 2013. Chris previously served as Vice President of Business Services from 2008-2013. Other previously held positions include Assistant Director and Director in the Business Management Services division. Chris graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Matt has been with CPSI since March of 2012. He previously served as Director of Financial Reporting. Prior to joining CPSI, Matt was the Accounting Manager for an over 800-bed hospital system based in Atlanta, Georgia and an Audit Manager in the Atlanta offices of Grant Thornton, LLP. Matt graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting and received his Masters of Accountancy from the University of Georgia. He is also a certified public accountant.
CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Robert joined CPSI in 2003 in our technical development area. He became our Chief Technology Officer in 2016. Prior to this, he served as our Vice President of Product Strategy. Previous positions include Director of Product Research & Development and Director of Software Engineering. Robert graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of West Florida.
Chief Marketing Officer
Tracey joined CPSI in 2016 following the acquisition of Healthland. Tracey has been a leader in the community healthcare IT space since 2007 where she served as the Senior Vice President at Healthland from 2007-2016. Prior to her time with Healthland, Tracey has held various marketing leadership roles, including Director of Marketing with Lawson Software. Tracey graduated from Minnesota State University - Mankato with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and International Business.
Senior Vice President Client Experience
Julie became a part of the CPSI team following the acquisition of Healthland in 2016. Her role as Senior Vice President of Client Services began in 2010. Prior to this, Julie had a broad background in various business operations, customer strategy and project management positions. In addition to serving as a leadership consultant to a variety of organizations, she was a professor in operations and business management at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota. She was also executive director of business platform transformation at Deluxe Corporation. Julie earned an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and is a Six-Sigma Black Belt.
Senior Vice President Client Services
Rob Hinckle oversees customer support for CPSI’s subsidiary, Evident. Rob joined the CPSI team in 1995. He has previously served as Senior Vice President of Software Services. His additional roles in CPSI’s Software Services Division included Director, Assistant Director and Implementation Team Manager. Rob graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.
Senior Vice President Product Management
Jody became a part of the CPSI team in 2017. His role as Senior Vice President of Product Management began in 2018. Jody has over 25 years of experience solving critical business problems through effective use of technology with a variety of organizations, including Entergy Corporation and EDS, where he was selected for multiple awards, including the MIT Management exchange. Jody graduated from William Carey College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics.
Executive Vice President
Scott Schneider has been with CPSI since 1983. Other positions previously held at CPSI include Senior Vice President of Corporate and Business Development, Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Sales Director. Scott graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.
Senior Vice President Sales
Troy Rosser has served as CPSI Senior Vice President of Sales since 2012. Troy’s long tenure at CPSI started in 1989. He has also held positions as Vice President of Sales, Sales Director and Sales Manager. Troy graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration.
President, American HealthTech
Teresa came to CPSI in 2016 following the completion of the Healthland acquisition. Teresa has worked for CPSI’s subsidiary American HealthTech since 2002 where she served as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Customer Relations before transitioning to the role of President. Prior to joining American HealthTech, she held various positions, including VP of Customer Relations and Human Resources during her 21-year career at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi. Teresa graduated from Belhaven College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Senior Vice President Information Technology Services
Scott Littrell began his career with CPSI in 2000 in Technical Support. He has served as Senior Vice President of Information Technology Services since 2016. He previously held various positions in ImageLink® and Research & Development and held the role of Director of Technical and Hardware Services. Scott graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science.
A. Robert Outlaw, Jr. was elected as a director in 2014. Since 2005, Mr. Outlaw has served as Chief Executive Officer and part-owner of China Doll Rice and Beans, Inc. He began his career with Morrison, Inc., first in the Budget & Forecasting Department and then in the Treasurer’s Office until 1985. He then started Marshall Biscuit Company, which he owned until it was purchased by Lancaster Colony Inc. in 2007. He has also served on the board of directors for Morrison Management Specialists, Inc., formerly known as Morrison Health Care, Inc.
Charles P. Huffman was first elected as a director at the 2004 annual meeting. Prior to his retirement in 2008, Mr. Huffman served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of EnergySouth, Inc., where he also served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer from 1998 to 2001, and Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 2001 to 2007.
Denise W. Warren was elected as a director in 2017. Ms. Warren has served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of WakeMed Health & Hospitals since 2015. She began her career in 1980 with Ernst & Whinney (Ernst & Young), and worked for a series of financial firms including E.F. Hutton, Ford Capital, LTD, CS First Boston and Merrill Lynch & Co. before joining Capella Healthcare, Inc., as Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Warren also served as a Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Gaylord Entertainment Company, and Senior Equity Analyst and Research Director for Avondale Partners LLC. She currently serves as a member of the boards of directors for HeartCare+ and CancerCare+, collaborations with Duke University Health System, and Rockroom Insurance Group. Ms. Warren also serves on the Vizient Central Atlantic Executive Board. She previously served on the boards of directors of American Heart Association – Middle Tennessee and the Federation of American Hospitals.
Glenn P. Tobin became a director in 2017. Mr. Tobin served as Senior Vice President-Accountable Care Solutions of The Advisory Board Company beginning in 2012. Soon after he was named Chief Executive Officer of Crimson, The Advisory Board Company’s health analytics division, until he retired in 2017. He was also Chief Operating Officer of CodeRyte, Inc. from 2010 to 2012 and held various executive positions with Cerner Corporation from 1998 to 2004. Additionally, Mr. Tobin was General Manager for Corporate Executive Board and was a consultant for McKinsey and Company.
Jeffrey A. Strong was elected as a director on February 27, 2019. Mr. Strong has served as the Chief Investment Officer and Managing Partner of Gilead Capital LP since January 2016 and as the Managing Member of Gilead Capital GP LLP since September 2014. Prior to founding Gilead Capital, Mr. Strong was a Partner at QVT Financial LP from 2009 until September 2014 and a Senior Analyst from 2005 to 2009. From 2001 to 2005, Mr. Strong served as an Analyst at Shenkman Capital Management, a high-yield bond investment manager. Mr. Strong previously served on the boards of directors of Landauer, Inc. (a NYSE-traded company), Treveria plc (a London Stock Exchange-traded company), and TPC Group Inc. (a Nasdaq-traded company), as well as a member of the Nomination Committee of Fornebu Utvikling ASA (an Oslo Securities Exchange-traded company).
Regina M. Benjamin was elected to the board in November 2017. Dr. Benjamin currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of, and is a practicing physician, at the Bayou La Batre Rural Health Clinic, known as BayouClinic, Inc. She previously served as the United States Surgeon General and Vice Admiral of the U.S. Public Health Service from 2009 to 2013. In addition to roles as a member of the American Medical Association Board of trustees and the Medical Association of Alabama. Dr. Benjamin is currently a member of the boards of directors of Diplomat Pharmacy, Inc., ConvaTec, and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and Health Plan.
W. Austin Mulherin, III, became a director in 2002. Mr. Mulherin has practiced law, handling a variety of litigation and business matters for public and private companies since 1991. He has been a partner in the law firm of Frazer, Greene, Upchurch & Baker, LLC, since 1998. Mr. Mulherin served on the board of directors of the predecessor company to CPSI (predating CPSI’s initial public offering in 2002) and has extensive knowledge of CPSI and its operations.
